The day before Christmas, my husband and I watched a little Food Network.  When he saw a recipe for a turkey, cranberry, stuffing sandwich, he knew he had to try it, so here is our variation of it.

On a slice of whole wheat bread, spread cranberry sauce all around.  On the other piece of bread, spread a light layer of mayonnaise.  Then top with stuffing and turkey slices.  Put the piece of cranberry spread bread on top.  He also packed grapefruit and pretzels on the side.

The verdict?  My husband loved it.  He said it was like biting into Thanksgiving dinner all over again.  My son was less than impressed.  He said he didn’t like “jelly” on meat.
