This post contains affiliate links. It’s been two weeks since I rejoined WW. The first week, I wasn’t on weight loss mode, just on the healthy plan so I could get used to it. This week I was on the weight loss plan, and I’ll admit, I struggled quite a bit. But at the end of the week (my week ends tomorrow), I felt like I had finally gotten the hang of things. In fact, yesterday was the first day I used my daily points and only two weekly points, so I definitely think that’s a success. Here’s what I eat in a day on WW green plan (gluten free dairy free):
Breakfast
For breakfast I had:
1 piece of 3 Baker’s gluten free bread (2 pt.)
2 eggs (4 pts.)
2 slices of Simple Truth bacon (2 pt.)
diced carrots (0 pt.)
2 apple and 2 pear slices (0 pts.)
TOTAL for Breakfast: 8 pts.
Snack
For snack, I had two fresh dates cut in half and stuffed with 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts (2 pts. for the walnuts)
SNACK Total: 2 pts.
Lunch
I was planning something different for lunch, but I got home late, so I opted for eggs. (I know, I shouldn’t have eggs twice in a day, but it was better than eating something junkie.)
1 egg & 2 liquid egg whites (2 pts.)
2 Tbsp Daiya cheese shreds (2 pts.)
1 Simple Truth sausage (2 pts.)
1/2 cup applesauce (0 pts.)
Brussels sprouts (0 pts.)
TOTAL for Lunch: 6 pts.
Afternoon Snack
I made a simple blueberry crisp for lunch, and it was delicious. I took 1 tsp. Earth Balance butter, 1 tsp. Bob’s Red Mill 1-to-1 GF flour, 1 tsp. coconut sugar, and 2 tsp. old fashioned oats. I mixed those all together, spread them over the blueberries, and baked everything at 375 for 15 minutes. Yum!
Blueberries: (0 pt.)
Crisp topping (2 pt.)
Total for Afternoon Snack: 2 pts.
Dinner
For dinner we had a quick, easy meal:
1 Aidell’s chicken apple sausage (5 pts.)
10 Trader Joe’s Potato Tots (6 pts.)
diced carrots (0 pts.)
Total for Dinner: 11 pts.
Night Snack
1 Sweet Loren’s Sugar cookie (5 pts.)
Night Snack Total: 5 pts.
TOTAL POINTS FOR THE DAY: 34 points (I’m allowed 32 daily points and 42 weeklies.)
That’s what I eat in a day on WW Green plan (gluten free dairy free). Now that I have the hang of it, hopefully I’ll have many more days like this and see my weight loss increase.
