My work load has gotten very heavy recently, which is why I didn’t accomplish as much as I wanted to. For this upcoming week, I’m going to give myself grace and pare down my goals. Sometimes it’s just about survival.
Here’s what I accomplished last week:
Last Week’s Goals
Financial
Have a brief budget meeting (no more than 10 minutes) with my husband.Rework the budget. (I just got a semi-annual HOA bill, which I completely left out of the budget. Oops! It’s also clear that the grocery budget I set was too low, so I have to find more money for groceries.)Have 3 No Spend days- File all of our paperwork from the last 3 months (since the move)
Personal
- Write 3 thank you notes.
- Empty two tubs (We’re mostly all unpacked, but we have about 5 to 6 tubs that we haven’t unpacked. I want to take care of these in the next few weeks.)
- Have another freezer cooking session.
Find a physician for myself and DH.- Find a dentist for the family.
Get up by 5 a.m. every day this week.- Exercise one day this week.
- Crochet one row a day on my daughter’s blanket.
Take the kids to the library once this week.Do 5 days of homeschooling with Bookworm and the girls.Read at least 3 books to the girls or a few chapters of our Little House on the Prairie book a day.Do at least 15 minutes of ABCMouse.com with Cuddle Bug and 15 minutes of Starfall.com with PB & J Girl 4 days this week.- Find a new book to read and read 50 pages.
Work
- Write a book review for The Year of Living Dangerously and schedule it in advance.
Write 2 other posts for my blog.Write 5 posts for those I work for.- Decide on a regular publishing schedule for Mom’s Plans.
