Thanks to grandma’s visit last week, I got a lot accomplished.  (I’m going to miss having my mom be near enough to come visit and lend a hand when life gets stressful.  I’m also going to miss seeing her on a regular basis.  I just keep reminding myself we’re only moving to Arizona for a season.)

Here’s what I accomplished over the last week and what I  hope to accomplish this week:

Last Week’s Goals

Financial

  • List the rest of the homeschooling items we’re not going to use on Facebook and eBay.  I listed lots of stuff and sold several items.  Yeah!  I still have more to go, though.
  • List the rest of the Gymboree items I have to sell.  I’m half done with this.
  • Make a mock budget for Arizona as soon as I find out what my husband’s income will be.  Impossible so far as my husband still doesn’t have his contract for his new job, so we don’t know what he will make.
  • Figure out what we have in savings and what we owe on the credit card.

Personal

  • Do 5 days of homeschooling with Bookworm and the girls.
  • Read at least 3 books to the girls a day.
  • Pack up at least 5 boxes in preparation for the move.  I packed up 3.
  • Do at least 15 minutes of ABCMouse.com with each girl 2 to 3 days this week
  • Finish the book I’m currently reading.  Look for a review on Friday!

Work

  • Put up 1 review and/or giveaways this week.
  • Write 6 staff writing and freelance articles this week.
  • Have at least 2 of my own blog posts written and scheduled for next week.

  • Make a mock budget for Arizona as soon as I find out what my husband’s income will be.
  • Figure out what we have in savings and what we owe on the credit card (this is a bit complicated since we’re waiting on Arizona to reimburse our expenses for our trip out there as well as my husband’s current employer to reimburse us for a few other things)

  • Read at least 3 books to the girls a day.
  • Take the kids to the park at least 2 days this week.
  • Let the kids play in the sprinkler at least 1 day this week.

  • Finish the book I’m currently reading (I have about 150 more pages to go.)

Do you make weekly goals?  If so, what are yours?
