When I started homeschooling and decided not to have a babysitter as I’ve had the past two years, I also made the decision to only work about two hours each night and the bulk of my hours on the weekend.  That works great, as long as we never have a busy weekend or go out of town.

We’ve gone out of town for the last two weekends, and I can tell the difference!  This weekend I plan to get a lot of writing done and to really tackle the decluttering as I prepare for an upcoming garage sale.

Here’s how I did last week, and what I hope to accomplish this week:

An Update on Last Week’s Goals:

Financial

  • List two homeschooling items we aren’t going to use (Saxon phonics and Sonlight’s Core G) on Facebook and eBay.
  • Pack up two tubs of “stuff” to be sold at an upcoming garage sale.
  • Do the budget and have a budget meeting with my husband.

Personal

  • Get rid of 2 bags of “stuff” we no longer use.
  • Study Japanese with the kids at least two times this week.
  • Read at least 3 books to the girls a day.
  • Do at least 15 minutes of ABCMouse.com with each girl 2 to 3 days this week.
  • Read for 30 minutes every day.

Work

  • Put up 2 reviews and/or giveaways this week.
  • Write 8 staff writing and freelance articles this week.
  • Have at least 2 of my own blog posts written and scheduled for next week.  I failed miserably at this.  Did you notice?
