As my diet changes and becomes increasingly more natural, I buy less and less from the grocery store and more and more from health food stores, straight from the farmer, and online.

One of my new favorite places to order online is Tropical Traditions.  I find it amusing that at the beginning of last year, I didn’t think I liked anything coconut.  Now, I enjoy coconut so much that for the time being it is one of my foods I rotate so I can avoid developing an intolerance.  (My week for coconut starts on Friday, and I already purchased coconut cream in preparation for some yummy coconut cream desserts!)

My favorite products from Tropical Traditions are, of course, the coconut cream (which is a great replacement for those who can’t have dairy in desserts) as well as the Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil and the Expeller Pressed Coconut Oil.  I have replaced most of our cooking fat with expeller pressed coconut oil instead of the canola and olive oil I used to use.  My son is the only one who is still not fond of coconut, so the Expeller Pressed Coconut Oil, which does not have a coconut taste, is perfect for him.

I have also ordered grass fed meat from Tropical Traditions as well as bones for homemade stock, and I have always been pleased.  The products arrive in a timely manner, and the meats are still frozen solid.

If you are looking to make healthy lifestyle changes this year, I cannot recommend Tropical Traditions enough.
