I earned $311.47 this week, all of which I earned through virtual assistant work, advertising and freelance writing.
That gives me $311.47 saved for August expenses.
However, this month I am travelling to Colorado to attend the Savvy Blogging Summit, and it will probably cost around $1,000. My family is coming with me, so it will be a vacation, too. I hope to learn enough at the conference that it pays for itself in a few months, but still it is difficut to figure where that $1,000 is coming from. I am going to have to really work hard to earn more income, especially since my husband will not be paid the week he is off.

Update #16, No Progress This Week

I wish I was going to the SBS summit. We have plans that weekend, so maybe next year. But I’ll be following along on twitter. I’m sure you will learn more than enough to make back the investment and then some. From what I have read, last year’s summit was phenomenal
I am so excited about it! I will be blogging about it here sometimes too.
So envious! I’m just starting out with VA and can not wait to get to your level!
It snowballs. I started out with one job in February and it snow balled from there. Plus, I get paid on the first of the month for most of my work which is why the numbers are bigger at the beginning of the month. Good luck to you! Keep me posted on how you are doing.
How do you become a virtual assistant? Do you like it??
I like it. Someone else just asked the same thing on my Facebook page, and I answered there. Check it out! http://www.facebook.com/momsplans
