I earned $382.54 this week, but it most definitely was not a typical week.
I packed up 4 bags worth of my kids’ clothes to take to Once Upon a Child, and I earned $200.10 for those.
I earned $101.50 in advertising and freelance writing.
Also, my son’s school has a program where you can buy gift cards through them and earn a percentage for doing so. For instance, I can buy a $25 grocery store gift card through the school, and I will earn 2% (.50 cents) and the school will earn 2%. It is not a lot, but I tried to use the gift cards for things I routinely buy, and they just sent me a check this week for my earnings from mid-October to June–$80.94. It is not a huge amount, but it is substantial since I only bought gift cards for things that I was going to spend money on anyway.
I now have $1012.51 saved for July expenses. I am estatic to report this!! Now the next goal is to earn this strictly through my work writing, doing virtual assistant work and advertising.

Update #16, No Progress This Week

You’re doing such a great job! I’m sure that you’ll be able to meet your goal of earning money through freelance work. It’s also very impressive that you update every week. I’m so bad at that. ;(
Thanks for your encouragement. I hope to see more money coming in from freelance work as soon as I get rid of my eBay business, which takes a lot of my time right now (and doesn’t make any money.)
Way to go!! That is a lot of money you received for used clothing (in my experience), so that was great. Also, great job on the blogging income:).
Yes, I was pleasantly surprised by the clothes too.
