This week I earned $714.51, all of which was from staff writing, virtual assistant work and advertising. That means for the entire month so far, I have earned $3,811.33, which I find mind-boggling!
However, not all of that money gets set aside for February’s bill. I immediately snowflaked the entire pay from one of my virtual assistant jobs plus an extra advertising deal I unexpectedly got. In addition, I had $211 in blog and PayPal expenses (including my ticket to FinCon12), so all told, between snowflaking and blog expenses, I deducted $610.75 from my earnings this week, leaving me $103.76 to put aside for February expenses for a grand total of $1,562.03.

That is amazing! Great job! This is so inspiring as I just left my job on the first of the year, I have been reading your blog for a while now and you’ve become somewhat of a role model for me! Keep up the great work! 🙂

If you quit to start working at home, I would love to hear how it goes for you! My jobs were slow at first, but now they have really picked up!
I quit with high hopes of being able to make at least something from home. My husband does make enough to cover our expenses, but I would like to eventually make enough to replace what I took home after childcare expenses. We have just over $10,000 in consumer and education debt left and I have made that my number one motivation for creating income. I look forward to learning more from you, and again congratulations on everything you have accomplished!

Great! If you could raise some of the extra money for the debt, that would be great. Still, it is nice to be in the position where your husband makes enough; that gives you time to build up your income. Let me know if you have any questions.
Nice work Melissa! You’re killing it. I wish I had more time on my hands… Keep up the great work.
I think you will be killing it soon enough with your “empire”!
