This weekend we actually had a day when the temperature only reached the high 60s. I love weather like that! So, my freezer cooking plan had several autumn recipes for September. After spring, fall is my favorite season.
I found this recipe in my Dinner Is Ready cookbook. To read my review of that cookbook and others in the series, go here.

Fall is my absolute favorite time of year, not the least of which is for the cooking. My poor oven has been off all summer long, neglected. I'm itching to start making comforting warm dishes! Thanks for sharing your recipe with Two for Tuesday.
Hi Melissa and welcome to the two for tuesday recipe blog hop! I love when new blogs link up because I get to check out their sites. i love the idea of once a month cooking to save time in the future and save on money! This recipe looks like chili but I think my kids would like it more because it appears less spicey. I am now following your blog and your tweets. 🙂 Alex@amoderatelife
I make something similar and we love it! I will try your recipe next time! thanks for linking to Two for Tues!
