We don’t go to the movies much, but when we do, I like to watch something wholesome with the kids. That can be hard to find, which is why I’m so excited about All Saints, a new movie starring John Corbett as a pastor of a small church that is no longer able to pay its mortgage. Corbett is ordered to shut down the church, which he intends to do. However, some of the members of the small church, the Karen people from Burma, need Corbett’s help. They are new to America, and they need jobs and food.
Corbett begins to feel that God is calling him NOT to shut down the church, but to farm the land and try to make the church profitable enough to stay open while providing jobs for the Karen people, who were farmers in Burma.

This movie, which will be released on August 25, is rated PG and is suggested for those 10 and up. It is based on a true story, which makes it even more inspiring.
