Last year at Thanksgiving, I was the only one with a food intolerance.  I just had to avoid dairy.  Now I have to avoid dairy, soy and peanut butter.  Plus, two of my kids have to avoid dairy, so we are planning more carefully this Thanksgiving.  Here is what we are planning to have:

Turkey (seasoned with olive oil instead of the traditional butter)

Dairy Free Mashed Potatoes

Maple Mustard Carrots

Grandma’s Fruit Salad

Granny’s Hurry Up Dinner Rolls

Vegan Apple Pie using the Hot Water Pie Crust

We have tried about half of these recipes and already know that we love them.  The other half will be experiments.  Last year at Thanksgiving I think I got to have some turkey and some mashed potatoes I made.  Everything else was off limits.  This year it will be nice to have a whole meal we can all eat.
