I posted some ambitious goals for 2013, and the only way I will be able to accomplish them is if I break them down week by week.  So, I will list what I plan to accomplish every week to meet my goals by the end of the year.

Last Week’s Goals:

ACCOMPLISHED

  • Sit down with my husband to discuss our budget and financial goals and priorities for February–Done
  • List at least 15 auctions on eBay for my kids’ used clothes by the end of January–I have listed 35 auctions for my kids’ spring/summer clothes on eBay, and I have to list 15 more tonight.
  • Get my retirement info ready to meet with a potential financial advisor this week.–I did, and we met with the financial advisor.
  • Cut my son and husband’s hair–Done
  • Have my husband dye my hair–Done.  I think we saved about $80 this weekend by doing our hair at home.
  • Write at least 8 posts for my freelance jobs.–Done.  I wrote 14 posts.

NOT ACCOMPLISHED

  • Fill out and send off the paperwork for an LLC.
  • Order my seeds for the garden.  (I am planning to grow the greens that are currently in my food rotation–Swiss Chard, collards, bok choy, napa cabbage)
  • Have my kids write thank you notes for their Christmas presents.  (We should have done this a few weeks ago!)

This Week’s Goals:

Financial

  • List the remaining kids’ clothes on eBay and ship them out when they sell.
  • List the outgrown baby gear on Craigslist including baby gates and playpen.
  • Send the tax paperwork to the accountant by Tuesday.
  • Make at least $100 extra this week.
  • Begin buying toiletries on sale with coupons to save money.
  • Write to 10 companies to tell them how much I like their products (and hopefully score free coupons)

Personal

  • Order my seeds for the garden.  (I am planning to grow the greens that are currently in my food rotation–Swiss Chard, collards, bok choy, napa cabbage)
  • Have my kids write thank you notes for their Christmas presents.  (We should have done this a few weeks ago!)
  • Walk my son to school 4 days this week.
  • Exercise at home at least twice this week–either yoga, tai chi or hip hop abs
  • Read at least 150 pages this week.
  • Call a friend I have been meaning to call.
  • Finish potty training my daughter.  (Bribery with jelly beans is working very well.  I hope she is completely potty trained by the end of the week.)
  • Do 5 lessons with each of my daughters on ABCmouse.

Work

  • Fill out and send off the paperwork for an LLC.
  • Write the posts for my blog for the week by next Sunday.
  • Write two articles for my new job.
  • Write 10 or more articles for the different sites I write for.
  • Put up two new giveaways on the blog.
