This post contains affiliate links. We don’t have much work done on our home, so somehow I didn’t appreciate how disruptive it would be to have the tile company working on our bathroom for days. They arrive at 7 a.m., and they make a lot of noise! We’re only getting the minimum done on schooling. I also forgot that, with two kids with autism, this kind of big disruption in routine can be unsettling, and after the second day of the workers here, my husband and I had to deal with some big emotions from the kids. However, despite all of the challenges, the shower remodel is looking fantastic! (You can go to my Instagram account to see the progress made over the last two days. It looks fabulous!)
Here are my goals for 2021: Week 48 of 52:
What I Accomplished This Week
Walk 1.5 to 2.4 miles four days this week.
Yes. I walked four days this week, for 1.5, 2.2, 1.5 and 1.6 miles for a total of 6.8 miles and 138 minutes.
Make an editorial calendar for December for the blog.
No. I did about half of this.
Write 6 of my December blog posts.
No. My optimism last week in setting goals makes me laugh now!! However, I did get three December posts written in advance.
Do one lesson in my SEO course.
Update two blog posts for SEO.
Finish buying all our Christmas gifts.
No, but I’m almost there. I only have to buy for my husband and a few more items for our kids.
Find a new dentist and schedule an appointment.
No, but I did take Bookworm and PB & J Girl to the optometrist. PB & J Girl needs glasses; she’s not happy about that!
Goals for This Week
I don’t know how much longer the tile guys have left to work. They still have to grout the shower and put up the backsplash and whatever else they need to do to finish the project, so we’ll see. I’m going easy on goals this week:
- Walk 1.5 to 2.4 miles a day for two days this week. (I’m planning on walking on the weekend, but I can’t use the treadmill on the days they’re here.)
- Finish the editorial calendar for December for the blog.
- Write 4 of my December blog posts.
- Do one lesson in my SEO course.
- Update two blog posts for SEO.
- Finish buying all our Christmas gifts.
- Find a new dentist and schedule an appointment.
