It looks as though we’ll be spending a lot of time in our home for the foreseeable future.  (I’m in AZ, and all things virus are NOT going well here.)  So, in this  post, I am outlining all the things we want to do to our house over the next 6 months.  Not sure if they’ll all get done, but our house should be in better shape by the end of the year.

An Update for the Last Week

And, here is an update on my goals I want to achieve in 2020: weeks 25 of 52.

My 16 Goals I Want to Accomplish in 2020: Week 1 of 52

My Goals from Last Week

  1. DONE.  Use my planner for 5 days this week.
  2. Exercise for 5 days this week.  I did this 3 days this week for a total of 30 minutes.
  3. Track and stick to WW’s Purple Plan for 5 days this week.  Desserts killed me.
  4. DONE.  Eat 8 fruits and vegetables a day.  (My weight loss has stalled even though I’m sticking to my WW plan, so I’m hoping this helps jump start things.
  5. DONE.  Declutter & organize the bottom two shelves of my bathroom closet.
  6. DONE.   Pray in the morning and night 5 days this week.  I am so happy that I am establishing this habit again!
  7. Create a rough daily schedule for the girls and myself.
  8. Update 5 of my old blog posts.
  9. DONE.  Continue doing Duolingo daily.
  10. Continue toward my reading goals.  This is one week where this didn’t get done.

I am still reading The Island of Sea Women by Lisa See.

I am also reading Atomic Habits by James Clear.

Be sure to check out my historical fiction I want to read.  If you’re a fellow bookworm, follow me on Goodreads; I’d love to follow you.

My Goals for Next Week

  1. Use my planner for 7 days this week.
  2. Exercise for 6 days this week.
  3. Track and stick to WW’s Green Plan for 7 days this week.  (When I stay stick to, I mean stay within 32 to 36 points a day. )
  4. Have a dessert just once this week, on Sunday.
  5. Eat 8 fruits and vegetables a day.
  6. Pray in the morning and night 6 days this week.  (I pray every night, but I’ve let the morning prayer habit disappear.)
  7. Update 5 of my old blog posts.
  8. Continue doing Duolingo daily.
  9. Read 200 pages this week.
  10. Start a personal cookbook of the recipes our family loves.
