This post contains affiliate links. I got very little accomplished in my goals this week because we took a week long vacation. We went to Michigan to visit my mom and our son and got to take him on a college tour. (Yes, the time to transfer is almost here!) Then, we tagged along with my husband to his conference in Chicago and got to visit our old favorite places as well as see some sights in the city. I promise to tell you all about it, but first, I have to get caught up on my paid work. Hopefully Sunday!

Health Goals

Eat My Meals 4 Hours Apart

Ooh, this week was bad. I ate what I wasn’t supposed to and didn’t always stretch my meals. But I’m back home and ready to jump on the band wagon again.

Take Activated Charcoal to Detox from Mold

Did not do this. I’m thinking of waiting to do this until I’m free of SIBO because I’m having trouble fitting all of the pills in that I have to take between meals.

Yes, once again, my levels are high, and I have to have (another!) mold detox.

Exercise

I have two goals for exercise:

Walk at Least One Mile a Day 5x a Week

I walked one mile a day at least while we were in Chicago. The other days, not so much. 2/7

Lift Weights Two Times a Week and Do Yoga Once a Week

I did not meal prep this week. 2/6.

I finished My Side of the River. And now this book came in from the library, so I’m deep into it. It’s so good!! 3/3

Listen to Japanese for 1,000 Minutes

I did not listen to Japanese this week, so I’m at a total of 480 this 6 weeks, making this goal 48% complete.

Study Japanese for 360 Minutes

I did not study this week. So far, I’ve used Japanese Pod 101 and watched videos on YouTube for 212 minutes for this 6 weeks, making this goal 58.8% complete.

Write in My Journal 5x a Week

Failed this one this week. I didn’t write in my journal at all.

Financial Goals

Determine What Home Improvements We Want to Make This Year

No progress yet. Ugh. Thanks to an error on my part, we had to spend thousands on an unexpected home improvement. More details to come!

There are so many things we want to do to continue improving our home, but we likely need to replace the furnace and refrigerator soon, so mostly we need to squirrel away money for those items. No big home improvements this year, but we still want to make some changes.

Start Planting Our Seeds for the Garden

Lettuce, tomato, and green onion plants

Completed. We have all our seedlings under a grow light. (Growing season is short here!)

Don’t Spend Any More than $2,000 on Groceries

Eating Healthy Gluten Free Dairy Free Food on a Budget

We did spend on groceries, but I still haven’t reconciled my budget, so I’ll have to give you the running total next week. I can tell you we stopped by the Japanese grocery store in Chicago and spent way too much money, so I may go over on this goal. We’ll see.

However, as of week 3 of this 6 weeks, I have spent $1005.12 on groceries, which is 50.2% of my goal for this 6 weeks.
