Health Goals

Eat My Meals 4 Hours Apart

Most days, I stretched my meals to 3 to 3.5 hours apart, so I’m getting there.

I failed at this this week. I’m retesting for my SIBO tomorrow, so we’ll see if my progress has stagnated.

Take Activated Charcoal to Detox from Mold

Did not do this. I’m thinking of waiting to do this until I’m free of SIBO because I’m having trouble fitting all of the pills in that I have to take between meals.

Yes, once again, my levels are high, and I have to have (another!) mold detox.

I have two goals for exercise:

Walk at Least One Mile a Day 5x a Week

Rocked this one! I walked one mile every day of the week except one. 6/7

Lift Weights Two Times a Week and Do Yoga Once a Week

I did it! I lifted weights two times and did yoga once this week. 3/3

Meal Prep 4 out of the Next 6 Weeks

I did not meal prep this week. 2/6.

Personal Development

Read 3 Books

I am almost done with this book. I’m hoping to finish it by next week. 2/3

Listen to Japanese for 1,000 Minutes

I listened to Japanese music while I worked for 100 minutes this week and for a total of 300 this 6 weeks, making this goal 30% complete.

Study Japanese for 360 Minutes

I used Japanese Pod 101 and watched videos on YouTube for a total of 41 minutes, giving me 176 minutes for this 6 weeks, making this goal 48.8% complete.

Write in My Journal 5x a Week

Failed this one this week. I didn’t write in my journal at all.

Financial Goals

Determine What Home Improvements We Want to Make This Year

No progress yet. There are so many things we want to do to continue improving our home, but we likely need to replace the furnace and refrigerator soon, so mostly we need to squirrel away money for those items. No big home improvements this year, but we still want to make some changes.

Start Planting Our Seeds for the Garden

Lettuce, tomato, and green onion plants

Completed. We have all our seedlings under a grow light. (Growing season is short here!)

Don’t Spend Any More than $2,000 on Groceries

Eating Healthy Gluten Free Dairy Free Food on a Budget

Oooh. It was a pricey week! I paid the last installment of $250 for our CSA, which means for 20 weeks this summer, I’ll get veggies that have already been paid for in the winter. We also spent $304.60 on our ButcherBox and $76.13 on weekly groceries so, this week we spent $630.73. Oof! For this 6 weeks, I have spent $1005.12 on groceries, which is 50.2% of my goal for this 6 weeks.

How are you doing on your goals for 2024?
