This post contains affiliate links.  This was a really productive week.  Besides the items that I accomplished below, I met with two different painting companies to get quotes for painting the exterior of our house and repairing our back porch overhang.  I also worked a lot on decluttering.  I now have a nice pile of things to donate, and I’ll keep working on this next week.

Oh, one other exciting development.  I got rid of our ugly curtains/blinds that came with the house and took advantage of the Amazon Prime Day sales to buy new curtains.  I’ll show you a picture when I update my monthly goals next week.

Follow along to Bible in a Year for 5 episodes.

Wow!  I knocked this one out and listened to 12 episodes.  I wait to do all of the morning dishes at once so I can listen to one episode, and I also listen while doing my weekly meal prep and when cooking dinner at night.  Maybe I have a chance of getting caught up sometime this year.  🙂

Every day walk 1 miles or bike two miles this week.

Yes.  I’ve been exercising for about 8 weeks now, and I’ve finally gotten to the point where I don’t dread it.  Of course, I am also feeling so much more energetic now!

Listen to one healthy living podcast this week.


Yes.  I listened to How to Quit Sugar and Find the Best Sweetener.  Apparently, I’ve been eating way too much fruit.

Write in my journal three times this week.

Yes.

Continue my family cookbook by typing up three more recipes this week.

No. I have to get going on this again.

Declutter the kitchen island and counter.

Yes!  Now if I can just keep it decluttered.

 

Goals for This Week

I’ve been motivated to get things done around the house, so I’m focusing more on that this upcoming week.

  • Follow along to Bible in a Year for 5 episodes.
  • Walk 1 mile or bike two miles every day this week.
  • Listen to one healthy living podcast.
  • Write in my journal three times this week.
  • Wipe down the kitchen and bathroom cabinets
  • Put the handles on the bathroom cabinets.
  • Pick a painter and decide when to schedule the house painting.
  • Find 5 more bags of clutter to get rid of.
