This week, I felt that they had dropped low enough that I was comfortable going out and getting some things done that I had put off, so it was a busy week. I had my physical, a mammogram, PB & J Girl had her 12 year old check up, and my husband got the first shot of his vaccine. I tell you, I don’t know how we used to be so busy pre-COVID. Just running all of these errands made me feel like I didn’t have enough time to get all my work done and my goals accomplished. Even when this pandemic is over, I hope I don’t go back to being as busy as I was before the pandemic.
Here are my 2021 goals: week 7 of 52.
Goals for Last Week
Last week, I had several goals:
Finish Reading A Higher Call This Week
Done. This book is really good!
Listen to two healthy lifestyle podcast.
Follow along to The Bible in a Year for eight days.
Done. Now I’m just one day behind.
Exercise four days this week.
No. I really need to get my mind in gear and getting going with this. My doctor recommended exercising every day, if I can.
Spend 30 minutes cleaning and decluttering the garage.
Yes. Best of all, I had been looking for our car title for about six months now. I had even looked into buying a replacement copy for $95, so imagine my excitement when I found it in a box in the garage!
Work on getting the hard water stains off our bathroom counter.
Work on my Ancestry for two hours.
No. I only did this for one hour.
Print off every recipe we liked last week and put them in a binder.
Make an hourly schedule for myself for the weekdays.
Yes, I finally did this!!
Help the girls set up the telescope we got & use it one night with them.
Goals for This Week
This week, I have a lot of administrative work to get done, plus it’s getting close to the end of the month, which is my busy work time, so I’m making the goals lighter this week:
- Read 40 pages of The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue a day. (It’s large print, so that’s why I’m reading more daily).
- Finish my bookkeeping for the business.
- Finish two expense reports I have to do.
- Follow along to Read the Bible in a Year for eight episodes.
- Exercise five days this week.
- Work on my Ancestry for one hour.
- Print off every recipe we liked last week and put them in a family cookbook.
- Help the girls set up the telescope we ordered & use it one night with them.
