Our local buying group is offering the purchase of pork for the first time in several years.  (This is the same group where we buy our 1/4 side of beef.)  We could choose between a half or a whole pig.  Given these unstable times, we opted for a whole pig.  I’m not sure how much room that meat will take, but we’ve been trying to eat out of our freezer stash so we have room.  There are some old, not preferred vegetables in there, so we’re eating some interesting things that aren’t necessarily the kids’ favorite.  Here’s the menu planning & meal prep for August 10 2020.
