So, we’re almost out of grocery money for this four week cycle (look for an update this Tuesday), and there’s still 11 days in the cycle.  That is the bad news.

The good news is that we’ve been stocking the freezer, so we have over two weeks’ worth of meals in there.  We also plenty of oranges, tangerines, potatoes, and zucchini.  We’re definitely not going to starve.  Instead, we’ll be using up a lot of what we have, which makes me very happy.  Yeah for no food waste!

Dinner–Slow Cooker Roasted Whole Chicken, baked zucchini spears, homemade freezer friendly French fries

Tuesday

Lunch–Spicy No Bean Chili over baked potatoes, Sauteed Spinach
Dinner–Vegetable Bolognese with Eggplant

Wednesday

Lunch–leftovers
Dinner–Cabbage Beef Casserole (we made this last week, and it was a huge hit!)

Thursday

Lunch–Roasted Tomato Soup (from the freezer)
Dinner–Beef Stew with Potatoes, Carrots, and Peas in the Slow Cooker

Friday

Lunch–leftovers
Dinner–Moroccan Ground Beef with Zucchini and Tomatoes

Saturday

Lunch–Sandwiches, Beanitos, carrot sticks
Dinner–Crockpot Turkey and Veggie Soup (from the freezer)

Sunday
