Well, we are about out of grocery money for the month (oops!), so it is time to eat from the pantry and the freezer. Here is our plan:
Monday
B–eggs, blueberry/banana smoothie
L–sandwiches for the guys, soup for the girls
D–Slow Cooker Latin Chicken with Black Beans and Sweet Potatoes
Tuesday
B–pumpkin muffins, fruit, eggs
L–leftovers for the girls, sandwiches for the guys
D–Slow Cooker Red Beans and Barley, broccoli
Wednesday
B–sweet potato waffles, eggs, milk
L–sandwiches for the guys, soup for the girls
D–Slow Cooker Beef Pot Roast with Carrots, Celery and Potatoes
Thursday
B–blueberry pancakes, fruit, eggs, milk
L–sandwiches, fruit
D–leftovers
Friday
B–pumpkin pancakes, fruit, waffles
L–leftovers for girls, sandwiches for guys
D–Mexican Black Bean Chili with Tortillas
Saturday
B–oatmeal with blueberries and bananas, milk
L–dad’s choice
D–Chicken and Couscous
Luckily the pantry and freezer are amply stocked, so we should still have a good week of meals. I am also using the slow cooker more because I want a little break from cooking. Have a good week!

I was wondering what I’d do with the extra jar of pumpkin pie mix. Maybe I’ll turn it into pumpkin muffins or pancakes 🙂 Thanks for the tips!
Pumpkin muffins are our favorite!
Your menu sounds yummy. 🙂
Can I come? Haha, that sounds awesome. That is frugality at its finest. Great job! And no one is going hungry. Keep up the great planning.
Yes, if I don’t plan we spend waaayy too much on groceries.
