Last week I spent entirely too much time cooking and trying to pack up our stuff in preparation for our big move.  I had very little time to play with the girls during the day, and at the end of the week we were all a bit grumpy.

I still need to pack more this week, so I am taking the week off from cooking so I can spend time with the girls during the day and do some fun things like play games, read books, and go to the library for story hour, all things I missed last week.  That doesn’t mean we will be eating fast food though.  I am just going to pull out meals I already have all prepared in the freezer.  I might make a loaf of bread or two, but for the most part I am having a cooking free week.  Yeah!

Here is the plan:

Monday
B–Oatmeal Meuseli, strawberry/banana smoothie
L–sandwiches for the guys, spaghetti for me and the girls
D–pulled chicken sandwiches, peas, pretzels

Tuesday
B–leftover blueberry pancakes, fruit, milk
L–sandwiches for the guys, leftovers for us
D–Split Pea, Rice and Ham soup, homemade French bread

Wednesday
B–eggs, oatmeal with blueberries, fruit, milk
L–sandwiches for the guys, leftovers for us
D–Turkey Chili, salad

Thursday
B–Pumpkin muffins, fruit, milk, eggs
L–sandwiches for guys, leftovers for us
D–Lighter Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, dijon carrots

Friday
B–oatmeal, fruit, eggs, milk
L–sandwiches for guys, leftovers for us
D–Cabbage Stew, No Knead Bread

Saturday
B–pumpkin muffins, fruit, eggs, milk
L–homemade pizza with beef and cheese, milk
D–hubby’s choice

Sunday
I will be gone all day volunteering for a craft show at my son’s school, so this day is entirely my husband’s choice.
