Fall is here, and with it, shorter days. Where we are, it’s already dark now by 6 or 6:30. By the time Halloween rolls around, it’ll likely be dark by 5:30 or 6. That leaves many little trick or treaters vulnerable to not being seen by vehicles.
Plus, during the regular winter days after time change, it’s dark here by 5 p.m. Many, many people are still walking to and from work and school in the early evening darkness.
You can increase your child’s visibility dramatically, both at Halloween and on regular days, by using LunaTagz.
LunaTagz are reflective stickers that adhere to your child’s clothing. (For a more permanent stick, iron it from the reverse side at medium heat for 10 seconds. They can even be sewn on for increased durability) They can be attached to backpacks, hats, basically any place on clothing where you want to make sure they are seen. LunaTagz were developed by a mom, Hala Assile, who wanted to keep her children safe but still looking “cool.”
LunaTagz are also available in a variety of themes for girls, boys, and teens.
If you’d like to purchase LunaTagz for your kids, use the code SPOOKY25 to get 25% off.
One lucky Mom’s Plans’ reader will receive the Halloween 4 pack, as pictured above. To enter, simply visit LunaTagz, and leave a comment here about which reflector you think your child would like.
