I have just launched a new blog, Fiscal Phoenix. This blog is dedicated to helping people rise from the ashes of their financial mistakes. It is still in its preliminary stages, but I am excited about it, so I wanted to share so you could join me in this blog from the very beginning.
We all have financial missteps. Some are large–like filing bankruptcy or small, like paying full price for something we could have gotten cheaper. However, no matter what your age or your financial situation, Fiscal Phoenix is dedicated to helping you improve your financial situation and rise from the ashes of your financial mistakes anew.
Unlike Mom’s Plans that covers a variety of topics from dairy free living to freezer cooking to monthly budgets, Fiscal Phoenix is dedicated completely to financial posts.
I hope you will head over and perhaps subscribe or like Fiscal Phoenix’s Facebook page.

Congrats Melissa on starting the newsite. You truly are focused on your goals and are taking aggressive steps towards achieving them. My best wishes to you.
PS: on a side note, I had previously commented how I was inspired by your sale on Craigslist. Since reading that post, I made a list on 20 items and posted them. Of those only 5 have Ben sold, but I have made close to $300! So thanks for the inspiration. I am sure all my things will get sold. You rock!
That is great! What were the items that sold? $300 for 5 items is fantastic!
Jack Lalanne’s Deluxe Juicer ($50), George Forman Grill ($25), Shredder/Slicer/Salad spinner combo ($55), Art/craft storage cart ($30), Ikea Wardrobe ($140), total = $295. Hope that is helpful.
That’s great! I never would have guessed the salad spinner would go for that one.
Congrats on the blog! I just came back from reading all the posts to get caught up. I added it to mu blogroll too. Thank you for all your inspiration!
Thanks, Debby.
Oh I love it. Congrats on the blog.
