I saw this article tonight on Yahoo.com about a man, Daniel Suelo, who has lived without spending money for the last 9 years. I venture to guess that nearly none of us would go that far to save money, but the article does make one think.
One of the most interesting parts of the article is Suelo’s observation when he was working for the Peace Corp. He noticed, “The more [the villagers] spent . . . the more their health declined. He could measure the deterioration on his charts. ‘It looked’ he says,’like money was impoverishing them.'”
It is a good article, check it out and think about the way you are living your own life. It sure made me think.
