A new feature this year at Mom’s Plans will be a Saturday round up of some of the best deals on the web for healthy food and for kids.  Here are my favorites this week:

Tropical Traditions, on their other site, Grass Fed Traditions, is offering 45% off grass fed beef.  Their animals are entirely grass fed, which means that they are higher in omega-3s than traditionally fed cattle, which is better for your own health.  If you buy 12 pounds of ground beef, you will pay just $71.50, which is $5.98 a pound.  (Normal price is $130 or $10.83 per pound, so this is a great deal!)

eMeals is offering 15% off any meal plan through the month of January when you use the code NEWYEAR.  (See my review of the Clean Eating Plan as well as a Paleo plan recipe)

Between now and January 28th, when you spend $20 or more at Kidorable, maker of adorable raincoats and boots, you will get a free umbrella (a $13.95 value).  Kidorable will donate 10% of your purchase price to Garden of Dreams Foundation.  Use the code DREAM and add the free umbrella to your cart FIRST.  My girls have been asking for their own umbrellas, so I plan to buy a raincoat for my daughter’s 3rd birthday.
