Plus, we’re continuing to stock up the freezer.  This week, we got 20 pounds of wild caught salmon from Zaycon.  (This was my first time trying it; I can’t wait to see what the salmon taste like this weekend when my husband makes them.  He was VERY happy about this purchase.)

Just a Few Facts About Us

Our family of 5 chooses to eat mostly organic produce and grass-fed and pasture-raised meats.  I’m Paleo, my daughter is semi-Paleo, and the rest of us are gluten free.  Everyone except my husband is dairy free.  Our goal for the last few months of the year is to spend on average $750 per month on groceries.

Here’s what we bought over the last week:

Vitacost – $30.66

Vitacost had a Black Friday sale, so I stocked up on some snack items as well as tapioca flour for the cookies I’ll need to make next week for the girls’ AHG troop.

Zaycon Fresh – $140.24

I loved the ease of ordering from Zaycon and just driving up and having the fish put in my car.  I didn’t even have to get out!  Can’t wait to see how it tastes!
