Just a Few Facts About Us

Our family of 5 chooses to eat mostly organic produce and grass-fed and pasture-raised meats.  I’m Paleo, my daughter is semi-Paleo, and the rest of us are gluten free.  Everyone except my husband is dairy free.  Our goal for 2018 is to spend on average $750 per month (or less) on groceries.

Here’s what we bought last week:

Sprout’s, Basha’s & Trader Joe’s – $67

Costco & Trader Joe’s – $49

Sprout’s – $12

Vitacost – $51.09

The only “bread” I eat is Paleo AIP Fluffy Biscuits, which need coconut flour and tapioca starch as the base, so I stocked up on both of those.  I eat this bread a lot now that I’m on a soft food only diet.

Fry’s & Sprout’s – $25

I went into Sprout’s for one thing–bananas–which, ironically they were sold out of, and found so many good clearance deals!  I got three frozen meals for my husband and dairy free ice cream for my kids.  Everything was .99 each!

Costco – $47.71

Trader Joe’s – $17

Natural Grocer’s – $8

Fry’s – $7

Continuing tooth extraction staple food–loads and loads of applesauce!

Sprout’s – $12

Fry’s – $19

TOTAL for two weeks$314.80

TOTAL for February so far: $479.80

TOTAL for January: $812.92
