???????????????????????????????I read online that Gymboree was having a 40% off sale that was turning into a good deal for many shoppers, so I had to go and look for myself.  We’ve been in Arizona for 3 months, but today was our first trip to the mall.

What We Bought at Gymboree

I did find terrific deals.  I bought over $800 of Gymboree (in retail value) for $89.

Here’s what I bought:

  • 7 dresses
  • 2 pairs of girls’ pajamas
  • 2 pairs of boys’ pajamas
  • 10 girls’ t-shirts
  • 4 pairs of girls’ shorts
  • 1 pair of girls’ capri pants
  • 1 girls’ skirt
  • 2 pairs of girls’ socks
  • 3 pairs of girls’ sandals
  • 3 pairs of girls’ tights

I got on average each piece for $2.55!  Since the summer clothing season lasts for so long in Arizona, I bought more summer clothes than I normally would if we were still in Illinois.  In addition, the girls’ clothes are for both of my girls to share.  I should be all set for next summer with one exception–I need to buy a few more pairs of shorts later because my girls also wear the shorts under their dresses.

How I Got Gymboree Clothes for 90% Off!

I came to the store armed with a 20% off coupon that I got from a Parents’ Magazine I bought.

Then, I had $30 in Gymboree gift cards that I had been saving since this spring to use at a sale like this.

Finally, I used my Gymboree Visa and got another 5% off.

Oh, and Gymbucks are accruing, so I got a $50 Gymbuck to use in January during Gymbuck redemption.  (I always buy swim suits and rash guards for half off with my Gymbucks.)

At prices like these, I got brand new Gymboree clothes for the same price or cheaper than I can find at second hand and consignment sales.
