I’m beginning to think it may take all year to firmly establish these goals. Life here is, well, crazy and chaotic. After much observation and thought, my husband and I have decided to get another child tested for high functioning autism. We’re not sure yet that this child has it, but many of the behaviors that we’re seeing are similar to our other child’s who has autism.
I’m a bit overwhelmed to think I may have two children with autism, but if I do, at least this child can get therapy, and maybe, eventually, the chaos in our lives will settle down a bit.

Make Time to Relax
Read a book a week. I’m halfway through Pachinko and really liking it!
Write. Nothing this week.
Care for Myself
Exercise. Nothing this week.
Manage my sugar cravings. Still struggling. When stressful moments come up in my day, I just naturally want to reach for sweets. I’m totally emotionally eating.
Create a Manageable Schedule for Myself
Still working on this.
Re-establish My Prayer Routine
Friends, I said my morning prayers every day but one. I have to. I have to rely on someone else because I really need someone to lean on. The one morning I forgot my prayers was a rough one. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
How are you doing on your goals? I’d love it if you’d share in the comments!
