About Find Us by Benjamin Stevenson
Find Us is about a brother and sister who always walk home together after school. However, one day, they don’t make it home. Their mom, a former police detective, calls in a favor with an old detective friend, and soon the search is on for the kids.
What they find isn’t good. At the corner of a nearby intersection, a stop sign is askew, a back pack is open with its contents strewn nearby. Most chilling of all, the words, “Find us” are etched in blood on the pavement.
Immediately, the police turn their attention on the kids’ mother, but is that the right place to look? Has she harmed her children? Or has someone else kidnapped them? Will the kids be found before the worst happens?
My Thoughts on the Book
This is a difficult book to review and comment on without giving away most of the story. I’ll just say that it’s an excellent suspense/thriller in the same vein as The Silent Patient, one of my favorite books in this genre. I highly recommend this story, especially since you can listen to it for free on Audible.
I give Find Us by Benjamin Stevenson 5 out of 5 stars on the Mom’s Plans’ scale.
