One thing I have learned on my journey to a healthier lifestyle is that coconut is good for you. I never used to like coconut, but now it is definitely growing on me. I now enjoy the faint taste of coconut oil, and we have begun to use coconut sugar because it is lower on the glycemic index than traditional sugar.
I was recently given the opportunity to try Cocomojoe’s organic foods, and wow, are they good!
Joe, the man behind Cocomojoe, used to work in real estate, but he was looking for a lifestyle change. He decided to create a batch of granola. It was so good, his friends urged him to make more. So he did. And then he added new products.
Now, his company sells organic bars, granola and popcorn that fit a variety of lifestyles.
The Cocomojoe bars come in a variety of flavors including coffee and cocoa. These bars are full of good for you ingredients like walnuts, coconut, coconut nectar and coconut oil. Even better, these bars are good for those on a gluten free diet as well as those who follow a vegan, raw food, or Paleo diet.
We all tried the bars, and they were a big hit with every member of the family. Slightly sweet and softly chewy, they were the perfect snack treat. These would also be great for kids’ lunches or when traveling.
The Cocomocorn is caramel corn flavored with coconut sugar and coconut nectar. The coconut adds a wonderful flavor and makes the caramel corn delicious. Best of all, Cocomojoe never uses any GMO products.
Finally, the Salty Chocolate Granola is such a treat, it seems better suited for a late night snack or a dessert than breakfast. This granola is like none you have ever had before.
Cocomojoe has kindly agreed to give one Mom’s Plans reader a prize pack containing:
one bag of salty chocolate granola;
three bags of Cocomocorn; and
