I originally got this recipe from the TLC show Honey, We’re Killing the Kids. I have since lost the original and altered it to make it less sweet.

Mix 1-2/3 cups old fashioned oats,

1-1/3 cups milk, and
1/3 cup maple syrup
in a bowl and refrigerator overnight.

In the morning, add your garnish. We like chopped walnuts and raisins, though today my husband and son had it with blueberries and strawberries.

The recipe serves 3 to 4 and is a great way to have a healthy, cold meal on summer mornings.
