Banana-Blueberry Oat Muffins

I found this yummy recipe on recipezaar and made some changes. We have had these muffins now a few times, and they are yummy!

1-1/4 c. quick cooking oats
1 c. all purpose flour
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt1 large egg
2 cups ripe bananas, mashed (I use 2 to 3 large size bananas)
1/3 c. melted butter
½ c. to 1 c. blueberries (I use frozen)
½ c. chopped walnuts

–Combine first 6 dry ingredient in large bowl.
–Mix well.
–Beat egg, banana and melted butter together in small bowl until smooth.
–Add banana mixture to dry ingredients.
–Stir just until moistened.
–Stir in nuts, if desired.
–Fill greased muffin cups almost full.
–Bake at 375 degrees F for 20-25 minutes, or until top springs back when lightly touched.
