Last week I updated my reading list. (I’ve read 15 books so far, so I’m definitely on target for reading 24 books this year. In fact, I think I’ll easily surpass that, and I think I’ll surpass my goal of watching 24 movies this year, too!)
In January I had a list of movies I wanted to watch. The goal was to watch 24 movies in 2013. Four months into the new year, I’ve now watched 16 movies.
By the way, if you’ve watched any good movies lately, let me know in the comments. I’m always looking for more suggestions.

Of course, I realize some of these movies are fairly old, but we have had very little time to watch movies since our last two children were born, so there are some old ones that we would still like to see.
I’ll be sharing reviews of the movies we have watched every other Friday. (Reviews for books I have read will be on the other Fridays.)
Are there any great movies you have watched recently that you can recommend? If so, I will add them to the list. Thanks!

Good list. Many of these are on my library watch list, but I don’t put holds on them just yet, because when they’re ‘new’ the library lets you keep them for only 2 nights, where afterward you can keep them for a week 🙂
Don’t blame you! With kids, it’s somestimes hard to find time to fit in a movie. A week beats 2 day anytime!
About a month ago I was home alone one Friday night (hubbie was out on a boys trip) and I came across a rerun of Philadelphia with Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington. I don’t know what made me watch it, but I absolutely loved it once again! I hardly remembered any of the details and I’m so glad I watched it. I also watched the Denzel Washington movie about him as a drunk airplane piolot (“Flight?”) It was good. Some dramatic flight scenes which I didn’t watch closely because I’m not the best flier.
I wanted to see Flight, but I’m already a nervous flyer, so I probably shouldn’t.
