In 2013, one of my goals is to make a conscious effort to have enough down time.

2012 saw me burning the candle at both ends, working too hard and not getting enough sleep in our quest to pay down our debt quickly.  What happened is that the health issues I was already suffering from magnified until September when I finally had to slow down to address my health issues.

In 2013, I want balance to be one of my life mantras.  My list of 24 books I plan to read as well as this list of movies is my way to consciously slow down.  Here are the 24 movies we will be choosing from (plus any of your suggestions, if you have great ones).

Burn:  One Year on the Front Lines of the Battle to Save Detroit

The Flat (Hadira)

Of course, I realize some of these movies are fairly old, but we have had very little time to watch movies since our last two children were born, so there are some old ones that we would still like to see.

I’ll be sharing reviews of the movies we have watched every other Friday.  (Reviews for books I have read will be on the other Fridays.)

Are there any great movies you have watched recently that you can recommend?  If so, I will add them to the list.  Thanks!
