What We Ate The Week of June 15, 2019

I have been finding crazy good deals at the grocery store, like a whole, organic chicken for $1.98! and a 3 lb. bag of chicken legs for $0.99.  The freezer is stocked, we’ve been eating pretty well, and I’ve managed to stay on the reduced grocery budget I set for myself.

Here’s what we had this week:

Saturday

Lunch–sack lunches
Dinner–roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, roasted cauliflower

Sunday

Lunch–noodles with chicken and veggies
Dinner–BBQ chicken, steak, ribs (each person chooses the meat they like best–we don’t eat them all at once!), grilled and fresh veggies

Monday

Tuna Noodle Casserole

leftovers

Thursday

Taco Rice, carrot sticks

Friday

Chicken/Salsa Quesadillas, refried beans, corn
