Goals for December, 2018

Can I just tell you that getting back to goal setting and actually achieving most of the goals I set felt wonderful last month?!  Last night I ordered the Barton Level 1 reading program for one of my dyslexic children, and it felt great knowing that I had worked hard to raise the money in November, and now I could finally order it!

So, I’m back at goal setting for December.  I have a lot to get done this month, but honestly, I feel like this list might be a little too ambitious.  However, my mom is coming this weekend and staying until early January, so it should be a bit easier to carve out time to get things done with her here.  Here’s the plan:

  • Make a weighted blanket for my son.  My son has trouble falling asleep and staying asleep, and I’ve read that weighted blankets can help with this, so we’ll see.  Hopefully it’s not too difficult to make because buying them is expensive!!
  • Make a weighted lap pad for my son.
  • Make quilts for each of my daughters.  My daughters picked out their material for quilts a year ago, but I’ve been too busy.  It’s time to finish this project.
  • Finish Cuddle Bug’s Barbie dress and make another Barbie skirt.  This is a carry over from last month’s goals.
  • Finish PB & J Girl’s American Girl dress.  Another carry over from last month’s goals.
  • Make 10 freezer meals
  • List 5 more items for sale on eBay.
  • Read and outline 125 pages of Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat.
  • Finish watching and implementing 4 Weeks to a More Productive Life

That’s it.  You can follow along with my progress on Instagram.  Are you setting goals for the month?  If so, what are they?
