Menu Plan for August 5, 2018

Imagine this.  I made a menu plan last week, and I stuck to it.  Taking 30 minutes over the weekend to do that saved me so much time during the week.

Of course, I know this because I’ve been a menu planner for years, but when you let it drop and then pick up menu planning again, you see how much simpler mealtime is and wonder, “Why did I ever stop menu planning?”  (At least that’s what happens to me.)

So, here’s the plan for this week:

Saturday

Lunch: Asian Chicken Noodle Stir Fry

Dinner: Polish Sausage, Baked Potatoes, Zucchini and Asparagus on the grill

Sunday

Lunch: Taco Rice, Chips, Guacamole, Salad

Dinner: Steak, Zucchini, Roasted Cauliflower, Rice

Monday

Baked Sesame Chicken over salad

Tuesday

Old Fashioned Beef Stew, salad

Wednesday

Make Ahead Bean & Cheese Burritos with Steamed Broccoli

Thursday

Hearty Meatball Soup

Friday

Slow Cooker Jambalaya
