Menu Planning for July 29, 2018

I haven’t menu planned for at least a month now; instead I’ve just been winging it (never a good idea), and my grocery spending shows it.  So, this week, I’m back to menu planning.

I did a complete freezer and pantry inventory, and I found that I don’t need to buy much at the store this week because we’re so well stocked.  Here’s the plan:

Saturday

Lunch
–Hamburgers, veggies, fruit

Dinner–Asian Chicken Noodle Stir Fry

Sunday

Lunch–Salmon, french fries, salad
DinnerPaleo Shepherd’s Pie

Monday

Black Bean Soup, quesadillas

Tuesday

Sicilian Style Strata

Wednesday

leftovers

Thursday

Spaghetti, garlic bread, salad

Friday

Turkey chili

  1. Oh my gosh I am not alone, you are reading my mind! I promised myself I would be back on track with menu planning for the month of August. Not having our meals planned out makes my life so much harder. Husband and I have been working on house projects, which leaves us no energy cook and we are both sooooo over fast food. We had a freezer cooking session yesterday and I always have to give you the credit when I pull something out for supper. So glad I found your blog way back when! Best wishes.

Yay for a freezer cooking session! How is your house coming along? Is it almost back to normal? (What a job it’s been!)
