What We Ate, February 25 – March 3, 2018

All three kids came down with colds this week, so their appetites were kind of sluggish.  We had a lot of simple foods like grilled cheese and open face tuna salad sandwiches because that’s all they wanted to eat.

Sunday

Lunch–Fried Rice
Dinner–Cod with celery and carrots, veggies, brown rice

Monday

Lunch–hot dogs, leftover fried rice, cucumbers & carrot sticks
Dinner–Chicken Parmesan (I gave this a Tex Mex flare by mixing cumin, paprika and garlic powder in with the crushed nachos.  We didn’t use the spaghetti sauce or cheese.)  Leftover Spanish Rice & salad

Tuesday

Lunch–grilled cheese
Dinner–Slow Cooker Black Bean & Rice Soup, salad, grilled cheese

Wednesday

Lunch–Corbread Taco Bake (from MyFreezEasy), salad

Dinner–Crockpot Ground Beef Stew, cucumbers

Thursday

Lunch–open face tuna salad sandwiches
Dinner–leftovers

Friday

Lunch–fish sticks, macaroni and cheese, carrot sticks, tuna salad
Dinner–Tuna Noodle Casserole, salad

Saturday

Lunch–leftovers
Dinner–Spaghetti, broccoli
