My Goals for February 17, 2016, and an Update on Last Week’s Goals

Okay.  Last week can easily be summed up like this–Saturday our youngest got sick; at midnight her fever was 104.5.  We didn’t sleep most of the night taking care of her.

We had a brief 12 hours or so on Monday when no kids were sick, but that’s over.  🙂  Now the other two kids are running fevers and sick.

Not much got done this week, but, well, that’s parenting.  Some weeks are like this.

Forgive my lack of accomplishment this past week!

Anyhow, here are my goals for this week:

This Week’s Goals

  • Declutter for 100 minutes this week.
  • Write 3 posts for others.
  • Write 3 posts for my blog.
  • Exercise for 40 minutes this week.
  • Give our cat a bath twice this week.  (We’ve been putting this off because she’s very skittish, and we have to somehow manage to soap her up and make her sit for 10 minutes lathered up.  Any suggestions?)
  • Spend at least 60 minutes on BoardBooster scheduling pins for my Pinterest page for the week.
  • Spend at least 60 minutes on BoardBooster scheduling pins for a client for the week.
  • Close my books for January.
  • Write two posts recounting the last two weeks of History Arts & Crafts
  • Read an entire book.  I’ll either read this or this.  Any suggestions for which is better?

Last Week’s Goals

And here’s how I did on last week’s goals:

  • Declutter for 100 minutes this week.  Ironically, I did get this done because there’s a lot of down time when sick kids are sleeping or watching tv and no homeschooling is happening.  🙂
  • Write 3 posts for others.
  • Write 3 posts for my blog.  I wrote one.
  • Exercise for 40 minutes this week.
  • Give our cat a bath twice this week.
  • Read at least 100 pages this week.  (I don’t know which new book I’ll start this week.)

Comments

  1. Try putting your cat in the shower, if you have one that has a door instead of a curtain. ..soap her up, shut the door, sit on the other side and wait..then rinse and dry…we have to do this with our dogs.

  2. We were hit by cooties last week too. I’m amazed anything got done.
