Menu Planning for December 5, 2015

My mom’s staying here for a month (yeh!), so we’re trying to find a balance of meals she likes as well as frugal meals.  Here’s our plan for the week:

Lunch–Sloppy JoesGarlic Smashed Potatoes, steamed broccoli (didn’t get to make this last week and we have to use up the potatoes)
Dinner–Cabbage and Beef Bake (using tomato sauce instead of tomato soup)



Dinner–Jamie Oliver Sauce Spaghetti with ground beef (I know, this keeps showing up on my menu every week, but somehow it never gets made.  We haven’t had this in about 6 weeks now, even though it’s been on the menu plan.  :))


Meatloaf (from the freezer), baked sweet potatoes, green beans


Tuna noodle casserole


10 Bean Soup (replacing the smoked ham with leftover turkey) (didn’t get to make this last week, either)


Lamb and Spaghetti Squash

Beef and Bean Chili (from the freezer)
