Menu Planning for Saturday, April 5, 2014

We’re trying to curb our grocery bill by 15 to 30%, and boy is it tough!  This week is our last week of the month, and I joked on Facebook that I’m feeling a bit like Old Mother Hubbard.

So, for this week I’ll be digging out some of our remaining freezer meals for the family, and I’ll cook my food for the candida diet separately, just so we can stretch things further.

Here’s what the family will be eating:

Sunday–Beef Roast with Potatoes and Carrots

MondayPumpkin Chili (with turkey instead of beef)

Tuesday–leftover Beef Roast with Potatoes and Carrots







WednesdayChicken, Apple Sausage with Kale and Rice











Thursday–Hamburgers, homemade french fries, and whatever veggie we still have available










FridayTuna Noodle Casserole
