Menu Planning for January 11, 2013

Even though I have a whole freezer full of meals right now, I still can’t resist making a few fresh ones every week.

Still, the freezer meals have been wonderful to have, so we’re going to enjoy a few more of them this week.  The recipes with an * come from the freezer

Saturday
Lunch–smoked salmon, veggie soup, homemade fries
Supper–ham and cabbage saute, brown rice

Dinner–Beef Roast with Carrots, Potatoes and Peas in the Slow Cooker

One Pot Pasta with Tomato-Basil Sauce (subbing out kale for the spinach and using GF pasta and no cheese)

  1. I love being able to pull meals out of the freezer for a quick, but satisfying meal. I don’t do it often enough.
