We’re home now after 5 days at grandma’s house, and we’re ready to settle in for the winter because we have no more travel plans. I think we’re all looking forward to staying put for awhile.
I plan to use up some odds and ends from the freezer this week, and then sometime during next week to have a big freezer cooking session. More details on that coming tomorrow!

Saturday–Ham and Cabbage Saute
Sunday—Potato, Kale, Sausage Soup
Monday–Sausage & Peppers from the slow cooker
Tuesday–Roasted Chicken, Mashed Potato and Kale Cakes
Wednesday—Southwestern Chicken Soup, guacamole & corn chips
Thursday—Chicken Chili with Pesto (x2 so one can go in the freezer)
Friday–Sloppy Joes with corn chips & broccoli
