Can I just tell you how much I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE having our CSA produce basket start up again?
This year we opted for the largest size share with the assumption that we would freeze a bit of it every week so we’d have some of it in the fall. But last week we ate everything! Here’s a photo of the gorgeous goods we got this week:
and here’s our plan for meals (keep in mind that often Bookworm and I will eat something different than the rest of the family because of our food intolerances).
Dairy Free & Gluten Free Menu Plan
Sunday–Slow Cooker Roasted Chicken tacos with lettuce, tomato and guacamole
Monday–Chicken, Sauteed Zucchini & Garlic Scapes, homemade french fries
Tuesday—Quinoa & Kale Patties, homemade meatballs, cherry tomatoes (Bookworm & I will have some kind of meat patty & sauteed kale)
Thursday–Ham & Roasted Cabbage
Friday–Chicken soup with basil pesto
