Menu Planning for April 13, 2013

We’ve got a freezer full of freezer meals and only $61 left in the grocery budget for the month, so we’re eating meals that I made last week during my freezer cooking session or meals that come together quickly with what we have on hand.  (Items with an * are already made in the freezer.)

Family’s Meals (Gluten Free, Dairy Free)

My Meal Plan (Paleo Auto Immune)

I’ll be eating these foods throughout the week:

Apple, blueberry, cantaloupe, pear, watermelon, kiwi, mango, honeydew
Broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, celery, onion, squash, sweet potato, beets, swiss chard, collard greens
Beef, chicken, lamb, pork, turkey, bison

  1. I know Fried Rice is supposed to be an easy meal to cook, but I’ve never had very good luck with it. I think it’s time to try it again. The Chicken Fried Rice recipe you linked looks pretty good.

  2. Your menu looks delicious. Just the sort of thing I need at my house, what with all the ice and snow in APRIL! And things from the freezer are perfect – that is how I love to help my time and money budget, too. Thanks for sharing your menu with us!
